•Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson || ★★★★★ || Thoughts: I won't deny that this is not a book that I would normally have considered reading. But I am SO glad that I did. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. Regardless of your feelings on the subject matter (anorexia) the writing alone is just so poetic and gorgeous. This was easily one of my favourite reads of the year....so far.

Yeah, I'm that shallow. But, it did not disappoint me. Steven Straight needs to be in like everything forever.
•The Proposal || ★★★★☆ || Thoughts: I think I've mentioned this already, but I really, really enjoy Ryan Reynolds. I'll pretty much watch him in anything. But this movie was adorable. I'm pretty sure I woke Cam up by my giggling at it, so that must mean something.

Hey, thanks for pointing this out! I would have had no idea. W-what do you think the best way to go about it would be? It doesn't look like you can really contact her directly? Just talk to the site?

I know it's just fiction, but I still am uncomfortable with someone posting my/our stuff without permission.

For some reason the site doesn't let you contact authors directly, but you can contact the people who run it through the contact link on the right side of this page.

It's not even so much that it's fanfiction, or that it's mine (or yours) so much as she has done this a lot and not gotten in any trouble at all. That bothers me.
