So, you know that layout I promised you forever ago, Becca (

toadwart). I'm so sorry. I finally finished the one I started for you MONTHS ago... so if you still want to use it, well here it is. If you don't... well. Here this is anyway! lol! I blame my old crashed computer =3 ~~that happened like two months ago now, haha~~

How to install it:

1. Go to the Customize Journal area.

2. Under "#2 Select New Theme," type in FLEXIBLE SQUARES in the search field.

3. Select APPLY THEME under any of the given options.
*Blue Gray is the FLEXIBLE SQUARES default, but it really shouldn't matter which one you select.

4. Select CUSTOMIZE YOUR THEME in the upper-right box field. (Or you can also select the CUSTOMIZE button beneath whichever FLEXIBLE SQUARES theme you've just chosen - either way works. *MAKE SURE the green "Apply Theme" button underneath has turned into a link that says CUSTOMIZE.)

5. Select CUSTOM CCS - it will be the last option on the left sidebar

6. Change all drop-down options on this page to NO.
*There should be three of them.

7. Copy/Paste this entire code into the CUSTOM STYLE SHEET field. Make sure not to put any spaces or anything in because it'll break it. =p

*The given CCS code changes the look of your journal, none of the texts. You can modify many things to your liking by just playing around with the options in the CUSTOMIZE YOUR THEME area. Just roam around the sidebar on the left. But it is all quite user friendly.

Yay! I'm glad! xD If there are any problems you find with it, or weird things like inconsistant colour schemes or anything, please let me know. It's all very easy to fix. I was mostly finished forever ago and then I stopped working on it, so I had to pick up from where I left off when I went to finish it last night. So, I THINK I got everything squared away, but I've used this base code for an older layout of mine and might have missed changing over some things D=

There are a couple of ways to display the banner, but this is probably the easiest/quickest. Open your friends-only post to edit it. There are two options on the upper-right corner of the imput text area where you: Rich Text and HTML. Select HTML.
Copy this code:

Paste it wherever you want it to show up in the entry. Probably at the top?
Save Entry. And that should do it.

As for the tags, go back to the CUSTOMIZE JOURNAL area. And then in the upper-right box select CUSTOMIZE YOUR THEME. There should be a sidebar on the left with several options. Third from the bottom, select SIDEBAR.

From there you can change all the options - Flexible Squares always just gives you the calendar and default user pic to start with. You can add a text blurb if you like. Change the order things are displayed. Hide the calendar. Show your tags - you can view them in either as a cloud or list. Ect. You should be able to play with anything there and it should work. =3 I-if it doesn't, lemme know!
