Because I don't much feel like doing anything else right now, I bring you this: a meme and a fanfic all in one neat little package!

There had been days, months, years of darkness. Cold and lonely in the darkness of that watery prison he'd been locked away and unable to breathe in. The only light he had known was her cheerful smile; his playful laugh; his caring guidance that he would watch through eyes that never seemed to truly be his. He could see them. He could love them. But they had no idea he was even there. 

When the day finally arrived that he could reach out and touch them with his own fingers he still felt trapped; always wondering if they still couldn't quite see him. But they remained his light even still; even when things seemed darker than ever. Because around them... he could finally breathe.

lol, I'm not entirely sure what it has to do with the icon... other than they both feature Syaoran. I-I sort of fail at drabbles actually. I never write them - or really read them either. *shrugs*

I think they are hard to do. I tend to be really wordy so drabbles are really hard for me. My brain doesn't like [writing] them because they're just like little teasers.
